RELAIX LAB
RELAIX LAB
Catalyzing research on muscle development, regeneration, and disease
The Relaix lab seeks to understand the fundamendal mechanisms of development and regeneration, using skeletal muscle as a model tissue. Using molecular genetic, genomic, and proteomic approaches we aim to identify novel factors and dissect regulatory networks that govern prenatal muscle formation and post-injury muscle repair, focusing both on satellite cells -the skeletal muscle stem cells- and on key cellular and molecular players of their niche. Furthermore, we are developing a translational axis to advance our knowledge and therapeutic strategies on neuromuscular disorders, notably Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Our lab is highly international and part of the IMRB – Institut Mondor de Recherche Biomédicale, located in Creteil (France).
